Sam’s Birthday in Photos {pt.1}

My mom and grandparents came up from South Carolina on Thursday; Tim’s mom, Steph & Ken came up on Saturday with Baby Girl in tow. Even though Sam didn’t have a big party with kids and all we made the day very special for him.
Transformers was the theme, and the house was swathed in red and blue streamers. There were big Optimus Prime & Bumblebee posters as well as balloons and swirlty things hanging from the ceiling. Sam was so excited!
There were beignets for breakfast and pizza for lunch, along with lots of other goodies that Sam loves.
He received Transformers toys almost exclusively, with the exception of a bike from Tim and me. He loved all of it!
We had a sweet day with Sam on Sunday {his actual birthday} and then his class had a little celebration for him on Monday. I will share pictures from those two days later. For now please enjoy some photos from Saturday…

Yes, he made it. He is obsessed with making shirts for whatever his latest “thing” is. This is supposed to look like Optimus Prime. I am shocked that you didn’t get that right away!

Hey — I recognized the Transformer’s blue helmet! Sam really enjoyed playing with V’s when he came to visit! I hope his enjoyment continues! ;o)
